Gastown Steam Clock

Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood, Gastown is known for heritage brick architecture, narrow streets, and the famous Steam Clock — built in 1977, it whistles every 15 minutes and remains one of the most photographed spots in the city. The surrounding blocks have one of Vancouver’s strongest restaurant and cocktail bar concentrations, with menus often built around Pacific Northwest ingredients.
