A narrow canyon cut into limestone, Johnston Canyon is accessible via wooden catwalks bolted to the cliff face, leading past a series of waterfalls. The Lower Falls (2.7 km return) is an easy, family-friendly walk, while the Upper Falls and the Inkpots — a series of natural spring pools further along the trail — reward those willing to go further. One of the most accessible and rewarding hikes in Banff National Park.
