Mississauga Celebration Square is one of Canada’s most ambitious public viewing venues for the FIFA World Cup 2026 — the largest FIFA tournament in history, co-hosted by Canada, the United States and Mexico, bringing 48 teams and 104 matches across North America from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Between June 11 and July 19, the City of Mississauga is screening select matches on the big outdoor screens at Celebration Square as part of its “Watch the World Play” program. All screenings are free and open to the public with no ticket or registration required.
The city is broadcasting over 60 matches across 23 tournament days — including all Canada Group Stage games, key Round of 32 matchups, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final on July 19.

Canada Celebrates — July 1 Special Event
On Canada Day, July 1, a separate Canada Celebrates FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Fan Experience runs at the Square One Shopping Centre P3 Parking Lot — live match viewing, musical performances by DJ Andre 905 and Rhythm Works, soccer activations and mini pitch activities featuring local clubs. Free, family-friendly and running all day.
Bars Open Until 3 AM
Mississauga restaurants and bars have extended last call to 3 AM throughout the World Cup to support fans watching late-night West Coast matches. The dining and bar options within walking distance of Celebration Square — on City Centre Drive, Hurontario Street and throughout the Square One district — are all open late.

By transit: MiWay bus stop 1498 (Living Arts Drive at City Centre Drive) stops directly at the square. Adult single PRESTO fare: $3.50.
By car: Square One Shopping Centre free parking is within a 5-minute walk. On July 1 (Canada Day), road closures are in effect in the City Centre area — transit is strongly recommended.
